What is a no fee authorization letter for Nyscef? ›

No Fee Authorization Letter: Where a “No Fee Authorization Letter” is referenced, it is intended to be a written request on the letterhead of the attorney or filer that an action or particular document type: will be accepted with no fee required and include the basis for the exemption.

To file online, you'll need to access the New York State Courts Electronic Filing System (NYSCEF) and create an account to file with your county clerk. When filing for online divorce in NY, you will have to pay an initial fee of $210 for the index number.

In an action subject to e-filing, the County Clerk or his or her designee shall file orders and judgments of the court electronically, which shall constitute entry of the order or judgment. Process Rules and Fees

Paternity and support summonses are served at least eight days before the court date. There is a filing fee of $52.00 for each summons. All family offense summonses must be served at least 24 hours before the court date, and there is no fee for serving these summonses.

PDF SIZE: PDFs shall not exceed 100 megabytes (100mb) in size. PDFs bigger than 100 megabytes (mb) will be automatically rejected by NYSCEF. As a common practice, all PDFs should be reduced and optimized (using file compression software) before they are e-filed to ensure the smallest sized PDFs possible.

The court employee will convert the case based on a fully-exectuted EF-10 Form (Stipulation and Consent to E-filing) delivered through EDDS. Begin by going to www.nycourts.gov/efile and click on “EDDS Court Processing” to log in. Log in to your account. Click on “To-Do List” on the “Clerks” Menu.

A document displaying "pending" status in NYSCEF indicates that the document has been received by the court and is under review. Once the review is complete the status will be changed to "processed".
